Can you buy from a Japanese store that won't ship to Turkey?

Yes — that's the whole point. The store only ever ships to our warehouse inside Japan, which is a domestic delivery it already supports. We pay for your items in yen with our own Japanese payment method, receive them, and then handle the international leg to Turkey ourselves. Whether the store ships abroad, and whether it accepts a foreign card, stops being your problem.

Do I need a Japanese address or a Japanese credit card?

No. You don't need either, and you don't need any Japanese. ShipMate isn't a forwarding service — we don't hand you a Japanese address to shop with. You paste links, we do the buying on your behalf, and you pay us in the app.

Which Japanese stores can you buy from for delivery to Turkey?

Almost any Japanese online store with a normal product page — large retailers, brand shops and one-person specialist stores alike. There's no approved-store list to check against. Paste up to 20 links per order. The exception is auction and person-to-person marketplaces: Mercari, Yahoo Auctions and similar sites aren't supported, because we can't guarantee the item, the seller or the timing. An unsupported link is flagged the moment you paste it, never after you've paid.

What does it cost to ship to Turkey?

Your items at their store price, plus a 10% service fee on the item total — minimum ¥500, maximum ¥18,000 per order. That's what you pay upfront. Shipping is billed separately once we've boxed and weighed everything, and covers each store's domestic delivery to our warehouse, the international leg to Turkey, and a service fee on those two.

Will I have to pay customs duty when it arrives in Turkey?

Usually yes. Import duty and taxes are set by Turkey and are normally collected by the carrier on delivery. They're not included in the prices quoted here, and we don't calculate them. What we do guarantee is that every item is checked against the import rules for Turkey before you pay, and that your parcel is declared at its true contents and value.

What happens if something is out of stock or can't be shipped?

We check every item before you pay, not after. Each link is read for its real price and checked against the import rules for Turkey — anything prohibited, restricted or unavailable is flagged and left out of your total, so you never pay for something we can't deliver. If an item turns out to be unavailable only after you've ordered, we refund it in full, including its share of the service fee, and ship the rest as normal.

Can I order from several shops and get one box?

Yes, and it's usually the cheapest way to do it. Order from as many Japanese shops as you like; everything arrives at our warehouse in Japan, we consolidate it into a single parcel, and you pay the international shipping to Turkey once. You do pay each store's domestic delivery to us, so a handful of larger orders beats a dozen tiny ones.
