I'm not in Japan. Can I still use ShipMate?

Yes — that's what Shop for Me is for. Tell us where the box is going, paste links to what you want from Japanese online stores, and we buy each item on your behalf. Everything is delivered to our warehouse in Japan, combined into one box, and shipped to your door. You never need a Japanese address, a Japanese card, or a word of Japanese.

Which Japanese stores can you buy from?

Almost any Japanese online store with a normal product page — big retailers, specialist shops, brand stores. Paste up to 20 links per order. Auction and person-to-person marketplaces are the exception: Mercari, Yahoo Auctions and similar sites are not supported, because we can't guarantee the item, the seller, or the timing. If a link isn't supported we tell you the moment you paste it, not after you've paid.

What does Shop for Me cost?

The items at their store price, plus a 10% service fee on the item total — minimum ¥500, maximum ¥18,000 per order. That's what you pay when you place the order. Shipping is separate and comes later: once your items have arrived and we've boxed and weighed them, we email you the shipping cost and you pay it once. Import duties and taxes in your own country are not included and are usually collected on delivery.

What if an item is out of stock or can't be shipped?

We check every item before you pay, not after. Each link is read for its real price and checked against your destination's import rules — anything prohibited, restricted or unavailable is flagged and left out of your total, so you never pay for something we can't deliver. If an item turns out to be unavailable only after you've ordered, we refund it in full, including its share of the service fee, and ship the rest as normal.

How much can I order in one go?

New customers have a ¥50,000 cart limit and one order in progress at a time. It's a deliberate starting point: it keeps first orders small while we learn each other. The limit lifts as you order more. Very large orders may also be split across two boxes — you're only charged shipping once.
