Do I need to be in Japan to use Send It Home?

Yes. Send It Home is for tourists and residents who have their items in Japan and can drop off a packed parcel in person. You can create your shipment before your trip and drop it off once you're in Japan. If you're overseas and want us to buy from Japanese stores for you, use Shop for Me.

Do I pay anything when I book?

No. Creating a Send It Home shipment is free. Once your parcel arrives at our warehouse and has been weighed, we email the confirmed bill. You pay once before it ships internationally. The bill covers domestic shipping to our warehouse, international shipping and the service fee.

Is the shipping estimate the final price?

The estimate helps you plan. Your final price is confirmed after we receive and weigh the parcel; some routes also depend on its dimensions. Import duty and taxes depend on the destination. Check the duty information in your quote and destination guide.

What can I put in my parcel?

Every item must meet the carrier's rules and your destination's import requirements. Check before packing food, liquids, cosmetics or anything containing a battery. Describe all contents accurately in the app, and use your country guide or ask support if you're unsure. A product being sold in Japan does not mean it can be shipped to every destination.

Do I need a printer or Japanese language skills?

No. Create the shipment in the app and bring your QR code and packed parcel to a Japan Post office. Yu-Pri Touch prints the label from your QR code, so you don't need a printer or to fill out Japanese shipping forms.

Do I need to pack the items myself?

Yes. Bring a securely packed parcel to the post office. Use a sturdy box and enough cushioning to stop the contents moving. Shipping boxes are available at post offices and many home improvement stores. Check destination restrictions before sealing the box.
